Oroville Ophir Lions working with Mazatlan Lions Club in Mexico

1000 Bags of Groceries Food Give Away, Lions Donations and Comunity Volunteerism
 
 
 
Lions Ray and Norma Penix visit Home for Boys in Mazatlan with president and other members
of Mazatlan Lions Club.  Mazatlan Lions Club donates food to Home for Boys.
 
First Week:  Mazatlan Lions Club food give away for the hungry "delivered to Mayor" of
Mazatlan to be distributed to the poor and needy.  Also included are blankets.
(500 grocery bags and 500 blankets)
 
Second Week:  Lions Ray and Norma Penix with other members from Mazatlan Lions Club hand
out tickets for the following day's food give away in a neighborhood where the
not really houses (made of tin and and scavenged boards) are quite dilapidated.
Mazatlan Lions Club food give away for the hungry "handed out to the poor
and needy" from the Lions Club clubhouse.
(500 grocery bags)
Forty additional bags passed out on a following morning.
